An Apology to my dear clients:

I have been so tied up with private commissions that I have not exhibited my work publicly, with the exception of October 2007 at the Fish Bowl Brew Pub which is the retail arm of Fish Brewing Company, one of the finest organic Amber brews on the West Coast. (Their Mudshark Porter is wonderful also). Check out the 47 foot long stainless Steel and copper screen I recently completed for them....

Issaquah Salmon Days Festival

John Hicks was chosen as the Featured Artist for the 2002 Issaquah Salmon Days Festival, one of the largest festivals of it's kind in the United States. Salmon Days only allows original, handmade art to be exhibited in person by the artists. He was very busy preparing the "Spawnsor" art for the generous companies and individuals that support Salmon Days, which is a celebration of the return of the 15,000 Chinook (King) Salmon, a smattering of wild Sockeye Salmon and over 20,000 Coho Salmon (Silvers). The festival was a huge success, with the help of John's sister, Mary and Jack Seth, her husband. Up at 4 AM and at it the whole day! That's really sticking by your family!
